Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to automate processes, improve system reliability, and accelerate software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between server and client applications.
- Integrate with third-party services and APIs to fetch and send data.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and application reliability.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest Node.js versions, features, and best practices.
- Document code, APIs, and project workflows for future reference and maintenance.
- Work closely with QA testers to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Node.js development.
- Proficient in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming and promises.
- Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JSON).
- Knowledge of database management systems, such as MongoDB or MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
